Studio

The Guge Institute and Art Studio is located in the Elgin Artspace building in downtown Elgin, IL. This studio offers a relaxed learning environment where students will enjoy a spacious work area. Josh provides a productive atmosphere where both beginner and advanced students can excel in their art.

Elgin is a historic city located on the Fox river. There is a variety of good restaurants and fast food options within walking distance of the studio. Students are just a 45 minute train ride to downtown Chicago. The train station is located just a few blocks from the studio. The nearest airport is O’Hare International and is roughly a 25 minute car ride.

There are many options for hotel accommodations within a 10 mile radius of the studio.  We have established a longstanding relationship with the Country Inn & Suites in Elgin.  They have taken care of our students over the last fifteen years and offer a discount.
