SCREECH OWL AND FISH CARVING WITH BOB AND JOSH GUGE

Full-body owl or face only in a hollow tree wall mount or fish of choice (Josh has several castings to choose from)

Two World-Class Champion Instructors in One Class!

This summer you will have an opportunity to experience a seminar that doesn’t happen very often. Whether you are a bird carver or a fish carver or wanted to try one or the other, please read carefully and pay close attention. Bob Guge and his son, Josh, have both taken Best in World honors in bird and fish competitions respectively. For this seminar, Bob will be teaching how to carve and paint a Kingfisher and Josh will be carving and painting a Bluegill.

You can choose from one of the subjects listed above. If you want to concentrate more on bird carving, you may do so. If it is a realistic fish you want to do, then your time can be spent on that. You can do as much or as little detail as you want on either subject. Concentrate on the areas that you feel need improvement. One can be highly detailed or it can be a “smoothie”. You can also choose a full or half size subject.

In addition to the carving and painting of the subjects, you will be given the opportunity to work on habitat to mount them on. Once again, you can spend as much or as little time you care to on developing the habitat. They are going to offer various alternatives to achieve the look you want. Airbrushing is another area that will be covered during this session.

If you’ve never done a bird or a fish, this could be your opportunity to do so. There will be a certain amount of equipment available for your use to see if power carving is what you want to get into. All steps of carving and painting will be covered.

Don’t miss out on this chance of a lifetime. If you want to discuss the seminar before signing up, you can call Bob at 847-421-0381 or Josh at 224-629-0581. Sign up for this “two for one” carving experience and get prepared to take on a week of world-class knowledge!
